MITRA Music for Nepal is a project co-founded by musician Anni Hogan and climber Cathy O’Dowd with an aim to release an album of alternative music, with all funds raised going to a reconstruction project in Nepal, to aid in the recovery from the earthquake of 25 April 2015. ‘Mitra’ means‘friend’ in Nepali and so the ‘MITRA - Music for Nepal’ project began, with our mantra #friendshelpingfriends
